Weekly Design Board Spotlight

I've been feeling pretty great lately. Besides my anxiety peaking a little, I've been reading DARE by Barry McDonagh and it has helped me so much with how I feel and the crazy thoughts that past by me sometimes. My plans for 2018 is to be more open about my anxiety. I have come to realize that I am so much more than my anxiety by reading DARE. I have to thank one of my best friends that recommended me this book. A review is in the works for the blog because more people need to read this!

I am so ready to be in the mountains. Last year we purchased a beautiful piece of land in Colorado. Although, we don't plan on building any time soon, I was able to pull up some live city cams where our land is near (thank you, internet!) and we saw lots of snow on the ground. So - to my IG followers...be prepared to see some neat photos!

This upcoming week will be a busy one! Aurelio and I will be heading to CO and we are so excited! I've been trying to finish up some last minute emails and some fun e-design projects in the works. What I love most about my job is that I get to design for people all over the US. I do have my local clients but designing with our technology now a days is awesome! When clients start to receive their items, it gets them and myself so excited! Especially when they send me photos and it's exactly how I pictured it to be. I love that feeling!

Here is this weeks design board spotlight :)

I love this board so much! I love all the neutrals and textures we brought in this space. Our client is happy so we are happy too. We started off with a blank slate so that's always fun to get a fresh new start. I brought in this grey simple upholstered bed. I love the base on it. The legs are super sleek with a mid century feel to them. I also added two of these West Elm MC nightstands. Notice how the finish is totally different from the bed but the whole room still ties in all together - thanks to our client's flooring! The rug is actually a Pottery Barn Kids. This room is on the small size so we were able to bring in a smaller rug. I love all these pillows. We have two solids then two cool pattern pillws with a beautiful plaid lumbar pillow. Never be afraid of bringing in pattern on pattern. A floor mirror was a must for our client and he loved this CB2 one that we found in a natural acacia finish. Overall - it came out pretty great! Let me know your thoughts on it :)
